The South West’s regional Convention Bureau – Meet Bristol & Bath - formally launched last year to proactively promote Bristol and Bath as top destinations for business events, makes its debut appearance at The Meetings Show 2022.  

Meet Bristol & Bath will be showcasing the region’s MICE offer to buyers at the annual trade show taking place at London’s ExCeL Centre 29-30 June. Partnering with the Bureau on the stand are four key venues in the region – Aerospace Bristol, De Vere Tortworth Court, Brunel’s SS Great Britain and The Apex City of Bath Hotel.

Meet Bristol & Bath team are able to help organisations bring conference or business events to Bristol and Bath and the surrounding area, supporting with many practical aspects of planning, such as finding a venue and booking accommodation for delegates (at no cost to the business), plus provide advice about travel and logistics. Their knowledge about what’s new and upcoming and ability to offer impartial advice ensures the best solutions are found for events.  

They can source trusted suppliers such as production companies, activity providers and event management companies, plus assist with booking any social events linked to the main conference and supply delegates with maps of the city, visitor guides and special rates for corporate gifts for attendees. 

The region is looking forward to a brand-new world class events venue opening in 2024 in North Bristol. The YTL Arena will have a maximum capacity of 17,000 with various conference and event spaces adjoining the main arena including the Festival Hall and The Hub.  The entertainment complex has ambitious plans to become the most sustainable event space in Europe – find out more about the YTL Arena from the Meet Bristol & Bath Team.
