This is the premium level of membership aimed at those businesses who want to significantly support the development of the visitor economy and in turn receive a unique level of business support and inclusive marketing opportunities.
Partner membership is for you if your priorities are:
Depending on your location, partner members can fully maximise the support of our Visit Bristol, Visit Bath and Meet Bristol & Bath brands. We have built up three formidable digital consumer platforms, with the Visit Bristol, Visit Bath and Meet Bristol & Bath websites, newsletters and our social media following. We use all of these platforms to share our destination information with our audiences.
Partners will receive top level exposure on Meet Bristol & Bath as well as the Visit Bristol or Visit Bath websites including priority listings and inclusion on featured pages, together with a highlighted presence within the travel trade site, if appropriate. Each listing includes ten images and the option to add special offers, social media feeds, and live availability through TXGB.
Partner members have priority inclusion in any relevant blogs and are also entitled to one complimentary sponsored blog which can be used to promote an upcoming event or something new you want to showcase.
Partners are contacted first and have priority inclusion in Visit Bristol & Visit Bath's seasonal campaigns (where relevant).
As a regional destination marketing organisation our members are more connected than ever. We work with over 700 businesses across the region, meaning each member gets to be part of something bigger.
Our exclusive member events and workshops offer opportunities to network with other businesses as well as hearing from industry leaders. Partner members receive five complimentary invitations to these events, which gives you the opportunity to bring staff members from different departments to ensure membership is being fully maximised across the business.

While we control, manage, and grow our own channels, it is critical that we work with influencers, writers and broadcasters to help them research, experience and share the best of Bristol, Bath and the surrounding rural and coastal areas to their audiences. Our Media Liaison Managers co-ordinate press and media trips for journalists, bloggers and influencers and regularly create and share press releases, so providing a pro-active approach to earned media.
Partner members have the opportunity to be fully engaged in this work and where possible we will link up writers and broadcasters with members who best match their particular brief or audience (partners will receive priority and will be contacted first). This not only brings press coverage to our members but benefits the whole region, inspiring visitors through local, national and international coverage.
Partners have access to a range of specialist marketing opportunities to the groups and travel trade market. This can include advice, training, familiarisation visits with appropriate buyers, opportunities to collaborate at relevant events, as well as targeted enews and social media. It also includes full listings on relevant pages of our Bath & Bristol travel trade website (Spring 2021). We are happy to discuss these opportunities with our partners in detail to ensure you are fully optimising these.
Partner members have priority in our monthly competitions that give the public the chance to win unrivalled experiences from our members.
Gold members are able to get involved in our monthly competitions that give the public the chance to win unrivalled experiences from our members. These can be a great way to a promote a new product or service and provide fantastic exposure for your business.
Partner members can also share their own competitions through the Visit Bristol or Visit Bath channels.
Partner members receive complimentary advertising in our official publications and a one-month free web banner across the Visit Bristol or Visit Bath channels.
Also, at any point during your membership you can take advantage of exclusive partner discounts for a range of additional advertising opportunities such as featured website positions, solus newsletters, additional sponsored blog posts.
These are a great way to secure further and more targeted coverage.
Meet Bristol & Bath is the Convention Bureau for the West of England region and the team work collaboratively with gold and partner Visit West members to promote their venues to the corporate, association and incentive markets.
The dedicated team continually enhances and builds Bristol and Bath’s reputation by showcasing the region as a first-class business event and incentive travel destination. Delivered through digital campaigns, familiarisation trips and attending industry trade events, there are also additional proactive sales activities to build business for the future. The bureau work year-round to maintain a good knowledge of industry trends and build strong relationships with businesses, local and industry stakeholders, academics, and event planners to generate business event enquires for the destinations. In addition, partner members will be part of our venue and accommodation finding service for event organisers designed to help support them find the best venue for their business (subject to 8% commision).
Additional benefits include top level exposure within the Meet Bristol & Bath website, opportunities to participate in destination familiarisation visits and to stand share at trade events and exhibitions with exclusive partner discounts.
The Meet Bristol & Bath team produce monthly newsletters and blogs specifically targeting business event planners, as well as having a strong presence on Twitter & LinkedIn. Partners can get involved in all of these.
Partners also receive regular industry insight sought from partners such as VisitBritain and the BVEP and advice on how to win potential business.
Our Heads of Department meet biannually with partner members to discuss trends, statistics and upcoming projects as well as providing an annual report on your digital performance across the Visit Bristol, Visit Bath or Meet Bristol & Bath channels.
Partners will receive exclusive Visit West partner assets to use across your channels and you will have access to a professional photography library.
Industry insight and reports will be shared with partners regularly & the team are happy to provide partners with additional information & reporting when required.
The Visit West team will champion your business at every strategic level both externally and within the company.
All fees cover 12 months of membership and are excluding VAT.
Partner membership is £5,900 plus VAT.
Payment can be made by BACS, debit/credit card, direct debit or a schedule of staged payments.
