Creative Opportunities Event

Date: 10th March 2026
Time: 12:40pm – 6pm
Where: M Shed, BS1 4RN

About: Offering young people the chance to find out about alternative routes into the creative and cultural sector, from volunteering, workshops, courses, mentoring to jobs. 80 Year 9 and 10 students from invited schools will be attending during the afternoon and it will be open to 16 25 year olds later in the day.

About: Large scale careers exhibition with employers, volunteering organisations, support services, workshops, networking opportunities, and CLaSS programme stands. Workshops will also be running on the day.

Open Events are your chance to come to college and discover our incredible facilities for yourself. You’ll have the chance to find out more about our courses and the opportunity to meet staff and talk to us about your next steps.

To ensure that you get the most out of your experience at our Open Event, we kindly ask that you choose to visit the centre where the course/s that you are interested in are delivered.

For our busier sites (CG & SBSA), we have staggered arrival times to help reduce waiting times. Please book a time slot that you plan to arrive.

(If the Eventbrite tickets are sold out for your chosen centre; please still feel free to come along as we reserve spaces for walk-ins. We would love to welcome you to City of Bristol College!)
