The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) Code of practice for services, public functions and associations: consultation 2025 is now live.

Watershed in Bristol have recently sent an open letter to the EHRC, which, at last count had 2426 signatures.
Some organisations have been reviewing legislation and added to their venue code of conduct and internal bullying and harassment policies. Please see an example from Watershed, Bristol below;
“Watershed recognises the right of staff and audience members to self identify their gender and requires all staff and customers to use appropriate gender affirming language. Examples of harassment related to gender identity may include deliberately mis-gendering someone or policing which facilities they use based on their gender.”
