Bath Pride will return on Saturday 22 August 2026, marking its third year as a growing fixture in the city’s summer calendar.

The event is guided by five core principles: being affirming, justice-led, grassroots, vibrant and safe, with a focus on amplifying marginalised voices within the LGBTQIA+ community.

The event will take place at Sydney Gardens from 12:00 noon, with a free programme of live music, performances, community groups and independent stalls.

A Pride march through the city centre will run from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm, with organisers inviting residents and visitors alike to take part in a visible show of support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Following two successful years, organisers say the 2026 event reflects both the growth of Bath Pride and the continued demand for visible, inclusive spaces in the city.

Phoenix Dewberry (they/them), founder of Safe Space Bath, says “Showing up for each other matters, especially right now. This year we are loudly centering solidarity with our trans and nonbinary community: Stand Up, Show Up.”

Bath Pride is a volunteer-led, grassroots charity, funded through donations and support from local independent businesses. Organisers say this approach helps keep the event accessible while staying rooted in the community.

Donations can be made on the day or online at https://bathpride.org/about/support-us/
