Badminton House proudly played the role of Pemberley, the iconic home of Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice, chosen for its grand architecture and authentic interiors.
The Other Bennet Sister is a Pride and Prejudice, spin-off, reimagining Jane Austen’s classic story through the eyes of the middle sister, Mary Bennet. The drama explores her journey towards independence and self-discovery.
Filming took place over three weeks in summer 2025, making use of both the House and its beautiful gardens, including:
- North Front of the House
- North Hall
- Grand Staircase
- Large Dining Room
- Ballroom
- East Front Gardens and Conservatories
- South Gardens

The estate features heavily in Episodes 6, where Mary Bennet travels to Pemberley after hearing concerning news about her mother’s health.
We were delighted to welcome a number of film and production teams to Badminton Estate, including actors Ruth Jones, Ella Bruccoleri, Indira Varma, and Laurie Davidson, among many others.
