This Easter, authentic family-run Italian restaurant group San Carlo is set to elevate the long weekend with a series of limited-edition dishes, immersive dining experiences and an all-new Golden Egg competition, bringing an added sense of occasion to the table.

Available from Friday 3rd April to Monday 6th April, this year’s celebrations are centred around the Golden Easter Egg -  a handcrafted dessert designed to end any meal on a high. Each guest who orders the dessert will receive a golden envelope for the chance to win a £50 gift voucher to spend at San Carlo.

Complementing the competition, the Easter menu celebrates the best of Italian spring flavours. Standout dishes include the Easter Lamb Special, featuring succulent seared lamb rump served with a silky pea and mint cream. Guests can also indulge in seasonal serves such as the Chocolate Velvet Espressotini – a rich blend of Grey Goose Vodka, Frangelico, Baileys, espresso, Nutella and hazelnut granella.

Across selected locations including Hale, Bristol, Alderley Edge and Flying Pizza (Roundhay, Leeds), guests can enjoy a Traditional Sunday Roast Menu, complete with perfectly roasted meats, crisp potatoes, seasonal vegetables and rich gravy. No Sunday Roast is complete without dessert, guests can choose from classic Italian desserts such as tiramisu and the signature tableside Mantecato alla Nocciola - a soft hazelnut ice cream with crushed Ferrero Rocher and chocolate sauce, best enjoyed shared. Those dining at Alderley Edge and Flying Pizza on Easter Sunday can enjoy their roast to the soundtrack of live music, setting the ambiance for a relaxed afternoon.

Families are at the heart of the Easter offering, with an exclusive children’s Easter dessert, the Piccolo Chocolate Bunny available at all sites. At Alderley Edge, families can enjoy special experiences including a Luxury Children’s Easter Chocolate Workshop lead by master chocolatier Oli The Choc and a Garden Egg Hunt, featuring a special Easter Bunny meet & greet - the event combines hands-on chocolate making, storytelling and interactive outdoor fun for a memorable family day out. Tickets available via Seven Rooms HERE

Adding to the experience, all guests dining on Easter Sunday will be offered a complimentary polaroid picture to take home as a memento as part of #Sancarlomoments, inviting families and friends to capture the laughter, toasts and togetherness and to leave with a tangible memory in hand. The polaroids will be available at all San Carlo restaurants (San Carlo, Fumo, Cicchetti, Ciccaro, Isola, Flying Pizza, Signor Sassi), excluding Selfridges.

For a relaxed Italian experience, visit Cicchetti in Manchester this Easter weekend and try its all-new breakfast menu, served daily from 9am to 12pm. Whether it’s a quick bite or a leisurely start, there’s something for everyone. You can also enjoy Cicchetti throughout the day in Manchester or London (Covent Garden and Piccadilly), with a small plates menu featuring dishes perfect for sharing like burrata bruschetta, seared scallops, and handmade ravioli over wine or Prosecco.
