The Adventure-Based Leadership Event Series is designed to help organisations build stronger leadership capability and high-performance team cultures through immersive, experience-led learning.
Latitude45 Events specialises in the design and delivery of adventurous, experiential events that help bold businesses develop high-performing leadership and team cultures. Drawing on the principles of adventure-based learning, the new event format blends focused leadership content with dynamic, hands-on challenges designed to ignite creativity, collaboration and performance.
Kristan Johnstone (KJ), Founding Director of Latitude45 Events, said: “We are delighted to partner with the Mendip Adventure team for what we believe represents an important evolution in leadership and team development. By combining structured leadership insights with expertly facilitated, real-world adventure experiences, we’re creating a format that is naturally engaging, genuinely enjoyable, and, most importantly, truly effective. Having delivered client events at Mendip Activity Centre previously, I know our values are strongly aligned, and with their expertise in outdoor education we’re proud to have Mendip Adventure as our official Adventure Partner for the Series.”
Under the theme ‘Building Leadership & Team Performance Cultures’, the inaugural series will deliver four events across May, July, September and October, focusing on two core areas:
- Aligning Leadership Capabilities to Drive High-Performing Teams
- Unlocking Your Unique Brand of Performance Culture
The first of these will take place on Thursday 21 May at Mendip Adventure’s flagship venue, Mendip Activity Centre, with further events hosted at iconic venues across Bristol and the South West.
David Eddins, CEO of Mendip Adventure, commented: “At Mendip Adventure, we’ve always believed that powerful learning happens through adventure. Having recently undertaken our own journey to define our mission, vision, and culture, we recognise the challenges leaders face - and the transformative opportunities that await them. We look forward to working closely with Latitude45 to deliver an innovative leadership experience that challenges leaders to step beyond a traditional classroom and makes full use of the facilities, expertise and passion of the Mendip Adventure brand.”
Free Leadership Insights Event to Launch the Series
To introduce the concept, Latitude45 is hosting a complimentary Leadership Insights & Social Event titled: “Culture Eats Strategy for Breakfast – Unlocking Your Unique Brand of Performance Culture.”
Taking place at the Engine Shed, Bristol, on Thursday 26 March (16:30–18:30), the event will feature a conversational panel discussion alongside informal networking. It offers leaders the opportunity to explore how to take ownership of the vision, values and behaviours that will define high-performance cultures in their teams, and sustain them. Further details and free registration are available here.
