Job title: Customer Service & Sales Administrator

Location: Mendip Activity Centre, Churchill

Department: Sales and Customer Service

Reporting to: Business Services Manager

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £20,000 - £21,640 per year

Hours: 4 days per week (32 hours/week), including one weekend per month. 

Holiday: 22 days per year


Are you an organised people-person who loves variety? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy delivering top-notch service?  

We’re looking for a warm, confident and capable Customer Service and Sales Administrator to join our growing team. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers by phone, email, and online chat. You’ll help them book memorable experiences across our family of adventure brands.  

From schools to families, you’ll help people find the right activity, build relationships with regular clients, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.  

Your day-to-day role

  • Chat with customers to understand their needs and match them with the right activity or package  
  • Manage bookings, enquiries and emails with speed, accuracy and warmth  
  • Support the team with scheduling and admin tasks to keep the business running efficiently  
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure effective communication of the resourcing needs to deliver high-quality adventurous activities and experiences.  
  • Ensuring existing loyal clients are treated respectfully and to the highest of standards   
  • This is a varied, people-focused role in a business that values excellent service, quick thinking, and positive energy.

The role would suit someone who:

  • Loves helping people and can communicate clearly, confidently and kindly  
  • Is naturally organised, efficient, and unflappable under pressure  
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Enjoys working in a small, friendly team where everyone gets stuck in  
  • Has strong IT skills and is confident using booking systems and shared calendars  
  • Can sell with integrity, matching people with experiences that genuinely suit their needs
