This half term, Pizzarova will be donating £5 from every children’s meal sold to their Rova foundation. In collaboration with local food education charity Square Food Foundation, the Rova foundation will deliver hands-on food and cookery lessons for children accessing food banks.

“Using pizza as a platform for change, we want to make food education accessible for all children” Jack Lander, Pizzarova co-founder.
So who are Pizzarova?:
The story starts back in 2013, following a trip by co-founders Jack and Alex to Glastonbury festival. They brought a landrover, fitted a wood fired pizza oven and toured the south west.
Since day one, they’ve stuck to their “fast food but better” manifesto. Prioritising good ingredients and great people… and 5 shops later, that’s still what matters most.
The Rova foundation:
The Rova Foundation is the home of Pizzarova’s charitable and community efforts.
Built on their belief that good food can make a difference, they want to help young people understand where food comes from, how it’s made, and how to eat well.
The Rova foundation provides the crew, the ingredients and the equipment to make food education accessible for every child.
“These sessions are rooted in joy, our love for good food and our local community. It’s an opportunity for our team to try something different, and give back in our own way.”
Square food foundation:
The food education charity, Square Food Foundation, has been teaching people of all ages and abilities to cook delicious and nutritious meals for over 25 years. From primary school children to families accessing food banks, Square Food Foundation works to ensure everyone has access to affordable food and the skills to prepare it. Learning the principles of healthy eating improves not just physical health, but also mental wellbeing and self-esteem, helping people feel better connected to their community.
How to get involved:
From Monday 16th to Friday 20th, Pizzarova will be donating £5 from every children’s margherita pizza sold. The campaign will run across all 4 of their Bristol sites, and all children’s pizzas brought when dining in or through their click + collect system will be included.
Keep an eye on their social platforms @pizzarova or sign up to the Rova Club, their email newsletter to stay updated.
