Bristol Airport Announces Children’s Hospice South West as New Charity Partner

Bristol Airport are delighted to announce Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) as its new official charity partner, marking the start of a meaningful partnership dedicated to supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the region.

The partnership will bring Bristol Airport staff together to raise vital funds and awareness for CHSW, which provides specialist care, respite, and support through its three hospices across the South West, offering a true “home-from-home” environment for children and their families. Bristol Airport recognises the vital work the charity does and the profound impact it has on local communities, supporting families at some of the most challenging times in their lives. Through a programme of fundraising activities and staff engagement, the partnership aims not only to generate essential financial support, but also to strengthen and raise awareness of CHSW’s services and the difference they make across the region.

Throughout the two-year partnership, Bristol Airport will support CHSW through a programme of fundraising activities, employee engagement initiatives, and awareness campaigns across the Airport. Funds raised will help CHSW continue delivering essential care and support to babies, children, and young people, as well as offering vital assistance to families when they need it most.

Since launching the Charity Partner programme, Bristol Airport has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for local good causes, helping fund vital services, community projects and support people in need. Between 2024 and 2025, Bristol Airport raised more than £210,000 through its two-year charity partnership with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC). This amount was driven by a wide range fundraising events, including long-distance bike rides, an Airport Runway Run, charity golf days, and plane-spotting events.
