This Valentine’s Day, while others exchange chocolates and roses, The House of Frankenstein invites visitors to prove their devotion in a far more daring way - by helping history’s most famous Monster find his Bride.

Launching on 14 February, The Monster’s Bride (In a Box!) is a brand-new Escape Game that blends dark romance, scientific obsession and pulse-raising puzzles into a wickedly fun Valentine’s experience.

Inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the game revisits a long-buried love story with a twist. Two hundred years ago, Victor Frankenstein’s creation made a heartfelt - if terrifying - request: a mate. Victor reluctantly agreed, but not without conditions. To earn his Bride, the Creature was set a formidable challenge: a series of intricate tests designed to prove intelligence, resilience and worthiness.

The experiment succeeded. A Bride was created, but the challenge was lost to time - until now.

Recently unearthed, this forgotten trial returns, inviting modern-day players to work together, solve fiendish puzzles, unlock secrets and demonstrate their ingenuity under pressure. Only those who communicate, collaborate and keep their cool will succeed. After all, love - even monstrous love - is a team effort!

Designed to thrill escape room and gaming enthusiasts while remaining accessible and entertaining for all, The Monster’s Bride (In a Box!) delivers an immersive escape game experience in a flexible, compact format. With rich storytelling, tactile challenges and a strong emphasis on cooperation, it’s perfect for first-time players and seasoned puzzle-solvers alike.

“We wanted to create something that feels genuinely immersive and challenging, but also social, playful and fun,” said Chris Harris for The House of Frankenstein. “What better time than Valentine’s Day to test communication, teamwork and trust? This game lets people step directly into the Frankenstein story and see whether they can survive a little pressure together.”
