This Christmas, Wake The Tiger, the world’s first Amazement Park®, is aiming to help deliver 80,000 meals to people in need across the South West through The Last Sprouts - a joyful and meaningful festive experience that blends magic with mission.

Running from Saturday 15 November 2025 to Monday 5 January 2026, The Last Sprouts is delivered in partnership with FareShare South West to tackle food waste and hunger at one of the most critical times of year.

Wake The Tiger have pledged a generous £10,000 in match funding to support the charity during its Big Give Christmas Campaign in early December, enabling donations from the public to be DOUBLED. Vital funding from Wake The Tiger will help rescue and redistribute surplus food for 80,000 meals to local families, schools and communities - turning festive generosity into real-world impact.

Visitors of all ages will step into the SPROUTERverse - a festive parallel world where the humble sprout becomes the unlikely hero of the season. Expect sprout-tastic twists, nostalgic moments, twinkling lights and immersive storytelling. From knitting and carol singing sprouts (with songs recorded by a local Bristol choir) to a giant Ferris wheel brimming with them, visitors will meet a cast of quirky characters as they follow The Last Sprout storyline - bringing laughter, surprise and imagination to the whole family.

“Every visit this Christmas helps us make a meaningful difference,” said Lucy Jarjoura, Chief Commercial Officer. “We want our visitors to celebrate, connect, and experience the true spirit of the season - imagination, community, and care. FareShare is an incredible charity doing vital work, and this November, our Wake The Tiger team will be rolling up their sleeves to volunteer in their warehouses and help get food to those who need it most.”

In the box office  visitors will discover a playful charity banner featuring ten circles, each representing £1,000 raised. As donations grow, a festive sprout will be added to a new circle, offering a fun and visual way to track progress towards the £10,000 target. The banner also features a QR code for quick on-the-spot donations. Before heading downstairs to the café and gift shop, visitors can also enjoy a seasonal photo opportunity and continue supporting the campaign through purchases with Wake The Tiger pledging a donation from selected  food and keepsake items to help reach the goal.

The £10,000 fundraising target will be achieved through a range of visitor and community-led efforts. Visitors can add a donation during the ticket booking process, use tap-to-donate points at the entrance and café, purchase festive food and sprout-themed merchandise (with profits supporting the campaign), attend corporate Christmas events with a suggested donation per guest and support school and community fundraising partnerships across the region.

“No one wants their family to go without,” said Lucy Bearn, CEO of FareShare South West. “By rescuing quality surplus food (sprouts included!) and sharing it across the south west, together we can fight waste and fill tummies this winter.”
