Siren, Bristol’s signature three-day summer party series returns to the Harbourside in 2026 with a landmark announcement: the return of The Maccabees. Following a euphoric reunion run of festival headliners, including Glastonbury and All Points East, the beloved indie band is set to deliver an emotional homecoming of sorts, lighting up Bristol’s open-air Amphitheatre on Thursday 23 July 2026.
It will be The Maccabees’ first Bristol performance since reuniting, and one of only five UK outdoor shows next summer. With a catalogue packed with cult anthems like Pelican, Precious Time, Love You Better, and Spit It Out, fans can expect a full-force celebration of one of the UK’s most visionary bands.
Guitarist Felix White said: “The year we’ve just had was so special to all of us, and so unexpected, that it has put some momentum in everyone collectively… and who wouldn’t want to do all that again”.
Now embarking on what fans and critics are calling “part two” of their journey, The Maccabees’ return has reignited affection for their Mercury Prize-nominated Given to the Wild and #1 album Marks To Prove It, alongside early favourites from Colour It In, all of which will make this Siren night one to remember.

Siren co-founder Tom Hoyle said: “We’re buzzing to have The Maccabees kick things off for Siren 2026. Their return has been such a moment and having them play on the Harbourside in the middle of summer, it’s going to be proper feel-good from start to finish. One of those shows you’ll be talking about all year.”
Tickets for the Maccabees go on pre-sale to mailing list members only at 10am Wednesday 26th November. Sign up for early access here. General sale goes live 10am Wednesday 28th November here.
