Neapolitan-style pizza joint to open at Wapping Wharf

Wild Pizza Co. began life in 2019, and was born from founder Dom’s love for simple, honest food done properly. After spending time living in Italy and investing in multiple mobile units catering weddings, events, and festivals all over the South West, Wild Pizza Co. are now expanding their offering into Wapping Wharf.

Based on an ethos of quality, flavour, and good times, Wild Pizza Co. will be serving up their slow-fermented Neapolitan-style pizzas within one of the brand new kiosk additions at Wapping Wharf, which will be situated on the Museum Street entrance to Cargo 2 and Wapping Wharf. They’ll also be expanding their offering to 18 inch New York style pizzas both whole and by the slice shortly after opening. The kiosks are an exciting new addition to the area, bringing four smaller units to the square currently occupied by The Clifton Seafood Company and Bagelry Box, and Wild Pizza Co. will be the first to open on Thursday 27th November, which will coincide with Wapping Wharf’s Christmas celebrations. 

Alongside their concise and ingredient-led menu, combining timeless Italian flavours with seasonal British produce, Wild Pizza Co. will also offer a selection of craft beers and wines, all served in a relaxed and welcoming space designed for sharing good food with good company.

Speaking about the new opening, founder Dom said:

“Wapping Wharf feels like a natural home for us and also feels like a huge milestone, having grown from a mobile setup to having a home among some of Bristol’s best independent food businesses - it’s a dream come true!

 “We’ve always admired the energy and independence of the businesses here, and we’re excited to add our own slice of that. Joining the Wapping Wharf community means being part of something that truly represents the best of Bristol, and we can’t wait to get started.” 

Speaking about the newest addition to the Wapping Wharf community, Stuart Hatton, managing director at Umberslade said:

Wild Pizza Co. will open at Cargo 2, Museum St, Bristol BS1 6ZA on Thursday 27th November 2025.
