The much-loved Bath Boules is set to return in Summer 2026, with a new chapter in its story. The Bath Business Improvement District (BID) will take on the organisation of this iconic event, ensuring its legacy continues to thrive in the heart of the city.
“Bath Boules Charitable Trust is delighted to announce that the Bath Business Improvement District (BID) will be taking on the organisation of the much cherished Bath Boules event in 2026. For the last 11 years this has been superbly run by MediaClash, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for local charities while adding to the joy of living and working in Bath at this spectacular Summer event,” said Celia Mead, trustee of Bath Boules Charitable Trust.
The Bath Boules has long been a highlight of the city’s summer calendar, combining fun, community spirit and charitable giving. With Bath BID stepping in as organisers, the event is set to grow even further, building on its strong foundations.

For over a decade, MediaClash has played a pivotal role in shaping Bath Boules into the vibrant celebration it is today. Their dedication has not only brought joy to those who played but also raised significant funds for local causes.
“It’s properly trés bien that the Bath BID are taking on the Boules – they’ll do a superb job,” said Steph Dodd, directeur general. “We’re very proud of what has been achieved over the years by so many companies in Bath coming together in Queen Square. It’s quite the job organising the Boules and we feel it’s the right time for someone else to take it on to provide fresh impetus and vision.
