Forestry England’s Westonbirt, The National Arboretum is reaching out to people aged 17-25 to join its brand-new Youth Forum. This is a new opportunity for young people to collaborate with staff at Westonbirt Arboretum to help shape conservation, learning and participation at the arboretum.

Imagine joining a group where your voice can be heard and you can actively play a part in the future of this amazing collection of some of the world’s rarest trees? Whether you're into nature, events, education or just want to be part of something meaningful, this is your chance to get involved!

Westonbirt Youth Forum

As a Youth Forum member, you will work with group of other young people to create new opportunities for youth involvement at Westonbirt, influence decisions at the arboretum and lead some exciting projects that will have a real impact.

You’ll meet monthly from January 2026 until January 2028 (online and onsite), working with the support of expert mentors to make friends and have fun gaining real-world experience in event planning, marketing and communications and conservation and education. Westonbirt will find a way to fit the forum meetings and activity around your busy life.
