Dot To Dot has made the final shortlist at the UK Festival Awards for Inner City Festival of the Year and Line-up of the Year for the 20th anniversary edition. The festival has also been named as a finalist for Best Independent Festival in the Access All Areas Awards 2025.
Now it’s over to the fans to help. Public voting for the UK Festival Awards is open up until 4 November, and contributes 30 percent of the vote in each category.
One of the UK’s original multi-venue metropolitan festivals, Dot To Dot has been bringing thrilling new music to audiences in Nottingham and Bristol for 20 years. With its rich history and line up pedigree boasting early shows from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Wolf Alice, Mumford and Sons, Laura Marling and Florence + the Machine, Dot To Dot has established a reputation as a tastemaker.
The 2025 line-up featured Fat Dog as headliners following sold out dates in both Bristol and Nottingham, as well as previously playing at the festival back in 2023. Their energy provided a perfect ending to the festival playing to packed out venues in both cities.
Next up were Sprints following their whirlwind year of sellout tours, a top 20 debut album, feverishly talked about festival appearances and widespread critical acclaim.
The Horrors returned as special guests for this special 20th edition following their headlining appearance in 2018.

Conrad Rogan, lead promoter for Dot To Dot, said: “We're super proud to have made the shortlists for 'Best Inner City Festival' and 'Line-up of the Year'! To be still receiving these nominations after 20 years of the festival is testament to the effort of the team and the thought and planning that goes into the weekend every single year.
“We strive to deliver an exciting and diverse line-up for Bristol & Nottingham whilst keeping the festival as affordable for ticket buyers as possible, so receiving this recognition means the world. “
“We're constantly in awe of the talent across the weekend from the 100 cap rooms to the 2000 cap, so here's to another 20 years of Dot To Dot!”
The festival is also committed to developing the homegrown music scenes in both cities giving opportunities to local artists to grow by playing to engaged and passionate audiences. Each year, the fringe stages and the opening slots of the main stages play host to more than 100 local artists.
Conrad added: “It would mean a lot to the team for the festival to be recognised in these awards so if you enjoy what we do, please vote for us!”
Public voting makes up 30 percent of the vote in each category, with the judges making up the remaining 70 percent.
The UK Festival Awards celebrates the very best of the festival industry. The winners will be announced at the Manchester awards event on 2 December.
