“This vote of confidence reflects the strength of our business community and its shared commitment to Bath’s commercial success,” said Allison Herbert, Chief Executive of Bath BID.
As a business-led and business-funded organisation, the Bath BID’s vision is to make the businesses' collective investment in Bath a driving force for a vibrant city — one that attracts customers, investors, staff and visitors, and ensures long-term success.
With 96.4% in favour, the ballot result confirms that Bath BID will continue delivering services and support until 2031.
Over the next term, the BID will focus on four strategic pillars designed to elevate the city’s appeal and resilience:
- Cleansing – Keeping Bath clean, welcoming, and well-maintained
- Security – Enhancing safety and resilience for businesses and visitors
- Promotion – Showcasing Bath as a premier destination for commerce and culture
- Partnership – Strengthening collaboration across sectors and communities
Bath BID looks forward to working with its partners and stakeholders to build on past successes and shape a thriving future for the city.
