The Auction raises vital funds for the RWA, a charity, based in the Grade II* Listed Academy of Art. “We are committed to supporting artists” says Ren Renwick, Director of the RWA. “From bringing exceptional art to the Southwest to working in collaboration with artists and creatives and creating ways for people to experience art, in their own way.
We are so grateful for the artists who have supported the Auction, the funds we raise from our fundraising activities help support the work we do.
I am really excited about this year's event – with many more artists to reveal this is really an opportunity for people to buy a piece of work they will unlikely see anywhere else"
The online auction is open on 24 October and runs until 6 November. This year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Auction postcards will be exhibited in the RWA’s Kenny Gallery from 28 October until 6 November. Audiences are invited to join the celebratory After-Hours event on 06 November where live-music and a live portrait artist will entertain as the RWA countdowns to the Auctions exciting close.
