Get ready for a tail-wagging celebration to close out the summer, as The Greatest Dog Show on Earth ® returns this September, in partnership with Cribbs Mall.
Taking place outside the shopping mall, from Saturday 13th to Sunday 28th September, all 53 sculptures from this summer’s Gromit Unleashed 3 Trail will be reunited for a one-time only show-stopping finale before the sculptures are auctioned to raise vital funds for Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Tickets for The Greatest Dog Show on Earth ® are now live and priced at £4 for children, £6 for adults and £5 for seniors, while children under two can attend for free.
The hour-long sessions, which run from 10:00 am every day, give trail fans the chance to see the full Gromit Unleashed 3 collection up close together, under one roof.
Alongside the 53 main trail sculptures, The Grand Appeal will be rolling out the red carpet to premiere nearly 100 Norbots, each of which has been lovingly designed by local schools, as part of the Gromit Unleashed 3 Schools Programme.
The exhibition will also feature the Miniature Gromit Unleashed collection of four Wallace & Gromit and Feathers McGraw artefacts, currently hidden within Bristol Museum & Art Gallery and the touring trail pup, Spot the Gromit.
Nicola Masters, director, The Grand Appeal, comments: “The Greatest Dog Show on Earth ® is always a very special event. After the buzz and popularity of the trail, to have all the sculptures brought together in one place feels magical.”
“It is the one- and time trail fans will get to see them together publicly, and of course, the last chance to tick off the last few on the app you may not have managed to visit on the trail. After the exhibition, it is onto the auction, and from there our star-studded cast could end up anywhere in the world.”
Lizzie Taylor, Acting Centre Director, Cribbs Mall, added: “As a proud supporter and partner of The Grand Appeal since our opening in 1998, we are delighted to once again host The Gromit Unleashed exhibition at Cribbs Mall. Throughout the summer, visitors have flocked to Cribbs Mall to check out our Gromit Unleashed 3 sculptures and visit the Gromit Unleashed store. We look forward to welcoming fans from across the country to The Greatest Dog Show on Earth this September, and we’re proud to help raise vital funds for such a special charity.”

Gromit Unleashed 3 is still underway, set to conclude on August 31st, but its impact and success can already be felt across the city.
The city and the trail have also become a destination for those beyond Bristol, with tourists and visitors coming to the city, for the sole purpose of experiencing the Gromit Unleashed 3 Trail.
Created in partnership with Aardman, Gromit Unleashed 3 has taken over the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area this summer, raising funds for the children’s hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Bristol.
This summer, The Grand Appeal and Aardman celebrate a 30-year partnership of Wallace & Gromit spearheading the charity’s fundraising. The partnership was first conceived in 1995 to help raise the money to build the Bristol Children’s Hospital on Upper Maudlin Street, Bristol. Since then, The Grand Appeal has generated £90 million to support the hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Michael’s Hospital.
