To mark its Bristol debut, Rudy’s is serving up 3,000 of its award-winning pizzas on the house to its new neighbours.

Rudy's Pizza Napoletana has announced that it is celebrating the launch of its first-ever Bristol restaurant opening this summer by giving away 3,000 of its award-winning pizzas on the house, and local foodies can claim theirs now via this link.

The new pizzeria, located in the heart of Bristol, transforms the former Royal Bank of Scotland branch on Baldwin Street, which has been vacant since 2021. The spacious 3,000 sq ft venue is set to offer 120 indoor covers, and an outdoor seating area with 35 additional covers - perfect for those sunny days.

Marking Rudy’s first site in Bristol and its 34th restaurant in the UK, the opening will give locals the chance to enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza, fan-favourite dips and classic Italian desserts right on their doorstep.

To celebrate the opening, fans who sign up  will have the chance to claim one of 3,000 pizzas available on-the-house on launch day, where they will be able to choose from Rudy’s fan-favourites such as its Triple Pepperoni, Salsiccia, and Margherita Con Bufala.

Commenting on the new Bristol opening, Neal Bates, Managing Director of Rudy’s said: “We’re seriously excited to be saying ciao to Bristol with our new opening and to bring our signature Neapolitan pizzas to the community for the very first time. To celebrate, we’re giving away 3,000 pizzas, encouraging everyone to come get their first taste of Rudy’s on us and experience what we’re all about."

Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour which ferments for at least 24 hours, alongside the best quality ingredients from Naples, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and fior di latte mozzarella.

In accordance with authentic Neapolitan techniques, the dough is cooked in a Stefano Ferrara oven for around 60 seconds – resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised cornicione (the edge or rim of the pizza).

While renowned for its first-class pizzas, Rudy’s will provide the full Neapolitan experience through a well-stocked bar. Customers will be transported to the Italian sun whilst sipping on classics like Aperol and Hugo spritzers, or, for a Rudy’s twist, the Morello Cherry or Mandarino spritzers. Also on offer are ice-cold local lagers and a variety of soft drinks – including the iconic Rudy’s Homemade Lemonade – all ready to excite the tastebuds.

The new Rudy’s Bristol will generate up to 35 jobs in the local area with manager, front of house and pizzaiolos positions available. The award-winning employer will be holding recruitment days for both full or part time positions to join ‘La Famiglia’ with dates to be announced soon, however eager applicants can send their CV via careers@rudyspizza.co.uk
