The Prospect Building launches huge free summer ‘Courtyard Socials’ sessions

Bristol’s most exciting cultural events space, The Prospect Building, is bringing a brand new series of open-air food, drink and music events to the city, with the launch of their Courtyard Socials.

Kicking off on Friday 16th May, and running on Fridays and Saturdays through until August, The Prospect Building’s Courtyard Socials will bring together the best of Bristol’s food, drink and music scene. Hosted in the venue’s sun trap courtyard, the events will feature music from DJs including Felix Joy, Paradisco and Bedmo Disco, alongside food from Pizzarova and a lineup of Bristol street food vendors, with beers from Lost and Grounded Brewers.

The events will be free to attend, and will run from 6pm-10pm on Fridays and 3pm-10pm on Saturdays, and will also feature a special deal of a Pizzarova pizza and a Lost and Grounded beer for just £10. 

The full line-up of artists will be announced throughout the coming months, but for now, here are some highlights…

•    Saturday 7th June: Shambala presents REFLEX
•    Friday 13th June: Paradisco

Speaking about the launch of the Courtyard Socials, Sam Watts, Booking Manager said:

“We’re so excited to be kicking off our Courtyard Socials, bringing some of Bristol’s best musical talent to our courtyard space alongside some of Bristol’s most iconic food and drinks names. Expect great food from Pizzarova, rotating guest street food vendors, and an amazing selection of Bristol beers, classic cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, all soundtracked by a host of Bristol’s finest DJs - perfect for a sundowner after work on a Friday night or some laid back pints with friends on a Saturday afternoon!”

Since officially opening The Prospect Building in September last year, the team have transformed the space on Feeder Road to incorporate multiple different multi-use spaces, hosting huge music events across a wide range of genres, bringing in artists from across the globe. Their outdoor space has also now been reinvigorated for this summer, featuring plenty of outdoor seating, covered areas, outdoor bars and street food vendors.

The Courtyard Socials start from Friday 16th May and will run every Friday and Saturday throughout the summer, excluding selected ticketed events. Free tickets can be registered for on The Prospect Building’s website at www.theprospectbuilding.com.
