Fancy an Easter trip to Rome – street food, local traditions, all the pasta you can eat – but not so keen on eye-watering flight prices and sardine-packed hotels?

This April, Kitchen by KASK is going full Roman. For two weeks only – from Thursday 10 April to Easter Sunday (20 April) – the North Street venue is hosting a collaboration between Garum, one of London’s top Roman trattorias, and VinAnima, Bristol’s go-to for brilliant Italian wines.

Chef Francesco Fantinel of Garum in Bayswater is bringing a banging menu of proper Roman classics:Carbonara, Tagliatelle, Linguine, Slow Cooked Artichokes, Arancini, Tiramisu and lots more. All complemented by a selection of Northern Italian wines curated and poured by ex-rugby player, now ace Italian wine importer, Colin Allan of VinAnima.

To further enhance the Roman Holiday, the venue’s suntrap garden will open for the first time this year as an Aperitivo Terrace – with Spritzes of Limoncello, Aperol and Campari, and, of course, Prosecco.

As Francesco & Colin put it: “Friends, Bristolians and Countrymen, lend us your ears. We’re super excited to bring real Roman cuisine and top Italian wines to North Street. We met through Colin’s Italian wines in Rome, bonded over Francesco’s Roman cuisine in London, and are now bringing them both to Bristol. As the Italians say – Good food, good wine, good company – what’s better than that? A presto!

Guests will be able to enjoy dishes from the a la carte menu or go full Italian with a fixed-price feast, with or without wine pairings.

This is your chance to enjoy a full Roman feast without leaving Bedminster – no flights, no faff, just proper food, great wine, and classic Italian hospitality.
