Feast On was born from founder James Haggart’s passion for food and drink, and in particular, the much-celebrated culinary scene of his native Bristol. Taking place on The Downs from Friday 26- Sunday 28 July, the festival will showcase the best independent restaurants, chefs, producers and street-food traders from across Bristol and the South West, as well as incorporating live music, chef demos and so much more.

Having started his career in the kitchen as a chef, James moved into the events industry after university, and has since combined his love of food and events to bring multiple successful food and drink festivals to South Gloucestershire. Feast On has been a project in the pipeline for some time, and this year James will be making the dream a reality, with a three day event on The Downs, with an estimated 15,000 attendees expected.

Feast On will feature an eclectic mix of local restaurants, cuisines and producers, as well as plenty of family friendly entertainment. Expect a splendid banqueting area, an artisan produce market filled with local delights, a live music stage featuring Bristol's best bands, engaging cooking demos, open fire cooking, insightful talks on food sustainability, wine tastings, and even a cookery school. Many of Bristol’s best-loved chefs, restaurants and producers are already onboard, and the full line up of traders and chefs will be announced very soon.

Speaking about the festival, founder James said: “Having called Bristol home for over a decade, I've fallen head over heels for its culinary diversity. The city's food scene is a vibrant tapestry of flavours, embodying creativity and
community spirit. It's this unique blend that makes Bristol the perfect backdrop for Feast On.

“The enthusiasm we've seen so far has been overwhelming, and I can't wait for everyone to experience what we've been cooking up. This festival is a labour of love, blending my passions for food and organising events in the city that I love."

Feast On will light up The Downs, Clifton, Bristol, from Friday 26th July - Sunday 28th July, and will be open from 5-10pm Friday, 11am - 10pm Saturday and 11am - 7pm Sunday.
