Just one week to go until Avon Valley’s Easter EGGStravaganza

Just one week to go until the UK’s first Candy Cannon arrives at Avon Valley, alongside Lambing Live, and The Grinch as he attempts to steal Easter between 29 March - 14 April.

Avon Valley is inviting Easter lovers to head to the Keynsham-based adventure park to enjoy their uniquely bonkers celebration of the chocolate-filled holiday. The two-week-long festivities will kick off with a bang next Friday 29th March, as the park fires the UK’s first ever Candy Cannon, showering the crowd in sweets! 

The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance at the park alongside newfound nemesis, The Grinch, who has moved away from stealing Christmas and is now determined to take over Easter in Avon Valley’s first ever Easter Show. 

Returning for 2024 is the park’s beloved Maternity Ewe-nit, where lambs are born every day throughout the Easter Eggstravaganza as part of a live lambing event. Avon Valley’s shepherds will be on hand to give educational talks, as well as lamb bottle feeding demonstrations and visitors will be invited to meet the four legged mums-to-be. 

As part of the Eggstravaganza, the park is hosting not one but TWO Easter Egg hunts: a daily egg exploration across Easter Weekend for people of all ages to seek the much sought after Golden Egg, as well as an adult only hunt on Saturday 30th March at 6:45pm. The young at heart can get together to search for 2,500 eggs after dark, with a huge array of prizes up for grabs. All proceeds from the adults-only hunt will be donated to Avon Valley’s chosen charity, the Ruth Strauss Foundation (charity number 1183211).

Avon Valley’s Easter EGGStravaganza will be open from 29th March - 14th April 2024 between 10:30am and 5:30pm. Day tickets to the event are available for purchase at avonvalley.co.uk/events/easter-eggstravaganza/ including tickets to the adults-only Easter Egg Hunt, priced at £15pp.  

Raptor encounters, a close-up with a dragon, a mini railway, and Dinosaur Valley are just some of the additional whimsical wonders waiting to delight visitors for the Springtime festivities at Avon Valley.
