Stars of Rupaul’s Drag Race will headline this year’s Cabaret stage, with DJ legends taking over the Official Afterparty as Bristol Pride reveal Cabaret and Afterparty acts for this year’s festival.

Organisers of the multi-award winning Festival have announced the first wave of acts performing with stars from Rupaul’s Drag Race and Drag Race UK taking to the Cabaret Stage. Southern sensation and breakout star of her own series and Drag Race Allstars 8, Heidi N Closet will be crossing the pond to join the celebrations, alongside Drag Race UK fan favourite, Pixie Polite. The stage will host 30 acts this year bringing the very best Drag Queens, and Kings, of the UK cabaret circuit to Bristol including Mary Mac, Lola Lasagne, Son of a Tutu, and Alfie Ordinary. Also back this year is Saxophone-playing Drag Queen, Snow White Trash.

Bristol Pride have also announced details of artists performing at their iconic afterparty, taking place at the Bristol O2 Academy. Pride presents 3 rooms of incredible DJs, performance, aerial displays and dancers. The incredible Confidence Man DJ’s are headlining the main room. Aussie party-starters, Confidence Man have spent the past 12 months cementing their status as one of the hottest dance music acts of the moment and their special DJ sets pay homage to the fun 90s euphoric dance music that inspires the original Confidence Man project.

Local legends, Don’t Tell Your Mother open the show with their own twist of house party vibes, unexpected classics, and dancefloor crowd-pleasers. Bristol regulars will know DTYM is a monthly LGBT+ club night with a cult following that prides itself on creating a joyful raging dancefloor where everyone is welcome to let loose.

Room 2 see’s Bristol club night One More Time join the festival for the first time, with their huge 90's & 00's party bringing a blend of ultimate Pop Classics, 90/00s anthems, R’n’B jams, Dance and Hip Hop. Usually at home in The Fleece, One More Time DJ Remy Melee (Boardmasters, Download, Boomtown) takes over for this special Pride celebration. Whilst in While Bristol icons Jersey The Devil and Macha Zu present Aether in Room 3 spinning Dance, Techno and remixes along with special performances throughout the night.

Bristol Pride runs from the 29th-13th July this year with the main Pride Day taking place on Saturday 13th July. Returning to The Downs, over 200 artists will perform across 5 stages. Last year Jake Shears headlined the Main Stage alongside Natalie Imbruglia and Girls Aloud star, Nadine Coyle and organisers will reveal more of their 2024 lineup in the coming months.

Advance tickets for The Official Pride Afterparty and Supporter Wristbands for Pride Day are available via the Bristol Pride Website.
