Sri Lankan restaurant group The Coconut Tree (TCT) is bringing back its popular Iftar menu to allow diners partaking in Ramadan to break their fasts in its Bath and Bristol restaurants. The offer will be available throughout Ramadan, from Sunday 10 March to Tuesday 9 April.

Introduced in 2023 at the The Coconut Tree's Birmingham site, the Iftar menu, now available across all eight sites, will come to £15 per person and includes:

  • A hopper
  • A curry
  • A sambol or condiment
  • Rotti or rice
  • A soft drink from the menu
  • Milk and dates

TCT Founder Rashintha Rodrigo (known as Rodrigo), comments; “We’re once again pleased to welcome Muslim diners in from across the UK to break their fasts with their friends and family. We were so happy to see how well-received the Iftar menu was last year in Birmingham and hope that the alternations and additions make the offer even more enjoyable for the Muslim members of the TCT family."

The Coconut Tree was founded by a group of family members and friends in Cheltenham in 2016, and now has eight restaurants across England.

The Iftar menu will be available via advance booking only. Customers interested should reserve a place via the TCT website at https://www.thecoconut-tree.com/book-a-table/.
