Diving deep through the mists of time this Easter, Bristol Aquarium turns the clocks back to a world when giants ruled the oceans in Prehistoric Sealife. The Aquarium will be hosting fun and educational talks for all ages throughout the Easter holidays, included in the ticket price.

Visitors will be able to get up close to some fascinating fossils and join the daily talks, as well as a special Jurassic Shark talk at 3.30pm every day to learn all about animal life under the waves on prehistoric Earth. Customers can then see the modern-day relatives of these beautiful creatures as they walk through the displays.

Inquisitive guests will be able to track their way through a colourful egg trail and spot some sneaky dinosaurs lurking in the botanical house.

Customers can Meet a Fossil Hunter on the 24 March. Dr Mark O’Dell will be joining us all day to tell visitors about life as a fossil hunter.

Visitors will be able to explore some of the fossils in Mark’s collection including ammonites, fossilised fish and shark's teeth, and are encouraged to bring in any fossils they may have at home to be identified.

Oliver Treasure-Smith, Marketing Manager at Bristol Aquarium has said “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing back Prehistoric Sealife to the Aquarium for another year. It’s impossible not to be fascinated by these creatures. They seem like they are from another world, yet they were just as much residents of Earth as we are today.”

Bristol Aquarium is situated on the historic harbourside and takes visitors on an underwater adventure through the world’s oceans. For more information and to purchase tickets visit www.bristolaquarium.co.uk or call 0117 929 8929.
