This February half term, ditch the winter blues and dive into a different sort of blue, with an invigorating surf experience at The Wave, Bristol. Contrary to common perception that surfing is reserved exclusively for sun-soaked beaches, learning to surf in the colder months promises an uplifting dose of winter wellbeing. It’s time to embrace the chill and step out of your comfort zone.

The joy of being outdoors, the excitement of mastering a new skill, and the adrenalin of catching your first waves make this a truly memorable winter half term activity. There are also newly installed saunas to enjoy for free after your surf session, a wonderful winter-warming menu in the cafe, and steaming hot drinks to enjoy with a view of the beautiful lake setting.

The ‘slice of the ocean’ near Bristol, offers surfing waves for all ages and abilities, from a beginner stepping on a board for the first time, to a professional training for the Olympics.
