A fresh take on modern European cuisine is on the menu at Bristol Beacon when ‘Colonnade’ opens on 5th January, under the Bristol Byzantine arches of the original foyer of Beacon, which has been transformed as part of the once in a generation transformation.

Colonnade
Bespoke caterer Graysons has partnered closely with Bristol Beacon to craft a food and drink offer that sits at the historic heart of the 19th Century concert hall. Colonnade is a relaxed, contemporary restaurant, resplendent in the Bristol Byzantine style, with original chandeliers reclaimed from the 1950s auditorium.
With a seasonal menu designed to take diners through the day, with a range of modern European small to large plates with locally sourced ingredients and cooked by Joshua Bebbington. The ethos is consciously sustainable, with plentiful plant-based and low carbon choices and a colourful seasonal children's menu.

With over twenty years of experience working across the world, Joshua has come back to Bristol to take a position as executive chef, overseeing all culinary aspects of the Bristol Beacon site. He is a classically trained chef, and having spent years in some of the UK’s most famous restaurants including River Cottage to the Michelin-starred L’Escargot.

On offer are choice local spirits, beers, ciders and perries, alongside modern cocktails, in-house shrubs and ferments, and a superb list of natural and classic wines. For those looking for something quick yet satisfying, there will be homemade bar snacks and nibbles coming hot and fresh from the Colonnade kitchen.
Colonnade is a stunning new eatery on Bristol’s immensely vibrant culinary scene, alongside two chic new bars in the venue, the Weston Stage, in the atmospheric, vaulted cellar; and Simons’ Bar, on the expansive mezzanine above the restaurant.

Opening on January 5th, the restaurant will offer all ticket holders a 10% discount at Colonnade until the end of January. In the Bridgehouse foyer space, the Stalls and Terrace bars will serve concert-goers with a wide range of South-West-centric drinks and snacks, delivered in partnership with Cornish brewery, Sharps.

A new Members’ bar, Goldings, reached from the Trenchard St entrance will now serve as a stylish snug with a premium selection of pastries, cakes, daily kitchen specials, and curated specialty drinks.

Local powerhouse Bristol Loaf will continue serving up its incredible café fare on the lower ground level, with pastries, delicious coffee and lunches in the airy foyer space.
