The UK’s original and best lantern festival, which will run until 7th January 2024, invites visitors to step straight into the pages of the nation’s most treasured tales, reimagined as 1,500 stunning lanterns.

Rediscover beloved stories that shaped our childhood as you journey through a myriad of fantasy worlds – from the Emerald City to Never-Never-Land.  Amazing artistry goes into creating bespoke lanterns that tower over you at every turn, with some stretching to over 15 metres high.

Show-stopping scenes are taken from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis; Cinderella; Peter Pan, Snow White; The Wizard of Oz; Winnie the Pooh and more.

This year’s event is set to feel more festive than ever, with a brand-new Christmas Market area, the incredible 15-metre Enchanted Christmas Tree show and the beloved Santa Train.

A brand-new light show rounds off the evening, illuminating Longleat House and culminating in a show-stopping fountain display on the lake.

Alongside Aslan, king of the lions, visitors can also come face to face with Longleat’s very own pride of big cats along with a host of other exotic animals in the world-renowned Safari Park.
