About Wake The Tiger: 

With a year’s worth of trading and astronomical success including 30,000 more visitors than initially anticipated,  1500+ rave Google reviews, winning the Leisure & Tourism Award and Platinum Award with Bristol Life Awards, being a Living Wage Employer, and now working towards B Corp Certification, Wake The Tiger are now looking to establish the Marketing team with a permanent, 5 days a week, Marketing Manager.

With developments in the existing space plus exciting expansion plans, the person who joins this team must have at least 3 years proven experience at a Marketing Manager level, have line management experience, and be ready to hit the ground running as soon as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive brand development, enhance market positioning, and achieve business objectives.
  • Leverage e-commerce, SEO, and digital marketing strategies to maximise online presence and generate substantial customer engagement.
  • Harness the power of social media platforms, including Meta, YouTube, TikTok & LinkedIn, to create impactful digital marketing campaigns and drive brand visibility, both via organic & paid channels
  • Develop and drive a strong PR strategy that increases reach and engagement
  • Deliver creative marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to deliver compelling content and campaigns.
  • Lead and inspire a marketing team of 2 whilst offering stability and support to the Sales & Marketing Director
  • Cultivate strong partnerships to expand business opportunities and drive brand collaborations.
  • Oversee advertising activities across multiple channels, optimising spend and messaging for maximum impact
  • Day-to-day support of the Sales & Marketing Director, including deputising when required

ESSENTIAL

  • A minimum of 3 years proven experience at a Marketing Manager level
  • Line management experience
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot patterns & behaviours that can be exploited via marketing activities
  • Create regular reports that appeal / talk to many (visual, data, copy)
  • A confident presenter with multiple levels of the business
  • Proven success in social media management
  • Proven experience within a B2C organisation
  • Experience in CMS
  • Thrives being proactive, with structure, organisation and planning, however can equally balance this when reactivity is required
  • Expertise in e-commerce, SEO, and digital marketing (both organic and paid), with a track record of driving online visibility and customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in leveraging social platforms for effective digital marketing campaigns.
  • Creative flair and innovative thinking, with a keen eye for developing impactful marketing content and campaigns.
  • Experience in managing advertising campaigns across multiple channels, optimising budgets and messaging.
  • Ensure regular internal communication across the whole business
  • Working collaboratively in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Strong networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
