Nest, a brand-new family show from “leaders in their field” (Children’s Theatre Reviews) M6 Theatre, tours to The Egg from Saturday 16 to Monday 18 September. Written and directed by Gilly Baskeyfield, this highly physical show has been created for children aged 3 years and over and appears in Bath for a run of six performances.

Nest tells the story of two birds, who decide to make a tree in the middle of a city their home. The world below them is full of stuff but, very quickly, so too is the nest and sitting amongst all the contents of their cosy nest, are two precious eggs.

This show filled with clowning, original song and beautiful shadow play, uses minimal language to tell a tale about taking care, discovering what’s important and learning how to fly.

Nest is performed by Simone Lewis and Emily Spowage, composition is by Mark Melville with design by Joss Matzen and beatboxing by Faz Shah.

Nest appears at The Egg from Saturday 16 to Monday 18 September. To book tickets call the Theatre Royal Box Office on 01225 448844, The Egg on 01225 823 409 or visit www.theatreroyal.org.uk/whats-on/
