Pip and Posy will attend the Circus Playground at this year’s Bristol Harbour Festival on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July. The characters from the popular TV series will bring their special brand of play as well as love of all things fun to College Green at this year’s festival - offering exciting goodies and entertaining activities for children to enjoy a weekend to remember!

The ideal spot to bring the kids over Harbour Festival weekend, Cirque Bijou will be providing show-stopping tricks and trapeze to transform the popular green space into the Circus Playground, which will also feature pop-up performances with a backdrop of jaw-dropping circus acts.

Children are invited to come and say hello to Pip and Posy, from Magic Light Pictures’ hugely popular and award-winning animated pre-school series on Channel 5’s Milkshake! and Sky Kids. Pip and Posy are the best of friends whose lives revolve around a wonderful world of play. Packed with warmth and humour, the series is full of laughter and games, and the challenges that friendship’s journey brings.

The beloved characters previously entertained families at last year’s Bristol International Balloon Fiesta on the Brizzle Kicks stage.

The Harbour Festival will take place from Friday July 14 - Sunday July 16. The iconic Bristolian event will revamp five waterfront areas including College Green, Lloyds Amphitheatre, Millennium Square, Queens Square and the waterfront itself.

The Circus Playground on College Green at this year's Bristol Harbour Festival is being delivered as one of the activities under the City Centre and High Streets Recovery and Renewal programme, funded by Bristol City Council and the West of England Combined Authority’s Love Our High Streets project.

Bristol Harbour Festival is part of Bristol 650, a year-long celebration of all things Bristol: who we are, where we come from, what we’ve done - and where we’re going.
