Full Job Description
Unique events venue hosting weddings, conferences and educational visits. We are looking for a strong and passionate event operator to join our small team.
Optional live in available offering 1 bedroom house.
The ideal candidate should be highly organised in the planning and hands on in the delivery of our events, helping us to exceed guest expectations.
You should also have good communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues to deliver high standards across all areas. Event administration is vitally important and includes bookings, invoicing and collation of client feedback.
Folly Farm Centre Limited is owned by Avon Wildlife Trust with our profits gift aided to the charity to enable wildlife’s recovery by working in partnership to restore, create and connect habitats, and increase species abundance, and to connect people with nature and help them take action for wildlife.
The role therefore would suit a candidate who enjoys nature and who wishes to be part of an organisation that can make a difference.
Key Skills
Experience in conference FOH
Experience in wedding planning and delivery
Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
Hands on delivery with excellent guest care
Professional written and financial IT skills
Positive, hardworking attitude
Preferred Skills
1-year similar work experience
Knowledge of Priava or similar hotel booking/event system
