A date for any food-lover's diary is Tuesday 27 June as All About the Cooks hosts its first Supper Club in Bath, where home-cooks Russel and Quelly will serve up a traditional Filipino-feast for City residents. Usually sharing their culinary passion with their neighbours and community on the All About the Cooks food marketplace, Russel and Quelly will be cooking up a mouth-watering storm as they take to the kitchen at Vineyards House.

The Bath-based couple, originally from the Philippines and now living in Combe Down, now use their own home kitchen to cook and sell delicious dishes through ‘Etsy for home-cooks’, All About The Cooks. Bringing traditional Filipino flavours, characterised by a particular balance of sweet, sour and salty - supper club go-ers can expect nothing less than an explosive journey for the taste-buds from this event.

With three courses for £45 and a BYOB policy allowing guests to bring their own tipple of choice from home, attendees can look forward to pork or veggie spring rolls, crispy pork belly Kare-Kare with rice and stir fried vegetables or stir-fried Filipino vegetables with tofu for the first two courses. Tickets for Russel and Quelly’s supper club can be purchased now on the All About the Cooks website.

For those with a sweet tooth, they can prepare to dive straight into Halo-Halo: a colourful and refreshing layered dessert made with shaved ice, fruits and sweetened ube ice-cream which has a distinctive nutty, vanilla-like flavour. Each bite is guaranteed to be different and is the ultimate way to complete the authentic South East Asian meal.

For those who cannot make it to the Supper Club, Russel and Quelly’s dishes are also available to order with 24-hours notice to eat in the comfort of their own home by visiting the couple’s online profile on the All About the Cooks website

As the platform continues to grow, All About the Cooks now has over 70 registered home-cooks cooking and sharing their food from countries all over the world with their neighbours and communities in both Bristol and Bath. Any passionate home-cooks in the Bath area can register their interest to become a listed cook on the platform on the website and start cooking and selling food to their neighbours.
