First wave of venues announced and tickets now on sale for Bristol’s biggest cocktail event, pouring this September

Cocktail lovers rejoice as tickets for Bristol’s brand new cocktail weekender are now on sale for £10 + booking fee on the Bristol Cocktail Weekend website. Brought to you by drink and dining connoisseurs, Living For The Weekend, and supported by the Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID), Bristol Cocktail Weekend will see our city’s cocktail institutions serve up exclusive signature cocktails between Thursday 28 September and Sunday 1 October.

Showcasing the best in Bristol’s mixology, hot-spots such as Blame Gloria and Loose Cannon will each create a bespoke cocktail for just £6 each. The Naked Malt Hub will be situated at everyone’s rooftop favourite, Bambalan, and will be the first stop for every festival go-er. Cocktail Weekenders are invited to explore the bumper list of participating venues on the search for their next tasty concoction this autumn.

With sponsorship and support from Bristol City Centre BID, organisers have already announced the first twenty participating venues, including: Milk Thistle, Filthy XIII, Flight Club, Harbour House, Rick’s at The Bristol, Tonight Josephine, The Aperitivo Co with many more still to be announced. Spanning the city, with each venue shakin’ things up across the four days, Bristol should get ready to make a weekend of it.

Delivering a cocktail adventure like no other, Bristol Cocktail Weekend’s Founder and Director, Alex Nicholson-Evans is a champion of all things hospitality and culture: “We’re counting down the days until Bristol Cocktail Weekend officially lands in the city. We’ve seen fantastic success with our event in the Midlands as it brings such a buzz to a city. Bristol is bursting with incredible independent businesses and established cocktail bars, so it’s a dream location for us, and to have so many venues come on board and want to be a part of this new venture will make this an unforgettable experience for everyone.”

Head of Bristol City Centre BID, Vicky Lee, said: “What an opportunity to showcase the phenomenal talent, businesses and hospitality heroes that make Bristol and its thriving night-time economy what it is. We’re tremendously proud of Bristol’s leisure and hospitality sector; it's essential to the fabric of our city. So make sure to grab a ticket and come and see what Bristol has to offer…all while sampling a cocktail or two!”

With the date already making a splash on Bristol’s social calendar, head over to the website to grab limited Early Bird tickets for £10 + booking fee. Early Bird tickets will be on sale until June 1 2023 so get them quickly!
