Thursdays are set to be the biggest night of the week this summer as the Brunel's SS Great Britain’s Lates Series returns with eight dockyard gigs from 15 June to 17 August 2023.

Following last year’s success, the team behind the Brunel's SS Great Britain is hosting twice the number of events with even more exciting music to discover at Bristol’s most unique gig location. The dockyard will come to life with live bands, a summer BBQ, local beers and a special signature cocktail, the Steamship.

This year the Brunel's SS Great Britain is partnering with Coffee Club Bristol (formerly Imagine That), which has been putting on some of the city’s best alternative gigs since 2013, to provide the best line up yet for these events.

Beer and cider for the Summer Lates Series will be locally sourced, and guests can also enjoy delicious food fresh from the BBQ, including a vegan option.

Early bird tickets go on sale on Thursday 11 May at a discounted price of £10. General release tickets will then be available from Thursday 8 June for £13.

Gigs will be taking place on Thursdays throughout the summer on the following dates: 15 June, 22 June, 29 June, 6 July, 13 July, 20 July, 3 August, 17 August

Phil Smith, Chief Operating Officer at the SS Great Britain Trust said: “Following last year’s success, we can’t wait to welcome even more locals for our Summer Lates. It’s an opportunity for Bristolians to relax and have fun at Brunel’s SS Great Britain after hours, seeing the ship in a whole new light.”

“Taking place in our iconic dockyard, our line-up will showcase up-and-coming talent from a range of genres, so there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy and you may even discover a new favourite band or artist.”
