Emily Eavis, co-organiser of the world famous Glastonbury Festival has encouraged festival-fans who didn’t manage to secure Glastonbury resale tickets to support Shindig Festival as an alternative. 

The cost of living crisis since the pandemic has resulted in a trend of last-minute ticket buying, which has put pressure on smaller festivals. It shows solidarity and real support for the industry for Emily to encourage Glastonbury fans to support another festival. Having this endorsement from the organiser of the best know festival in the world will have a significant impact on ticket sales, and at such as key time for Shindig with just one month to go. Shindig Festival takes place from 25 - 28 May in the stunning grounds of Dillington Estate in Somerset, a 16th century house and hotel surrounded by beautiful, tree-studded parkland. It offers everything from Funk to Punk, Dancehall to Drum & Bass, Hip Hop & House, as well as huge headline Live Acts and a DJ roster of old and new favorites that span pioneers, legends and luminaries.

Headliners include Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge, Jonathan Pie, Warmduscher, Dawn Penn, Erol Alkan, David Rodigan, Norman Jay MBE, Huey Morgan. The full line-up can be found here.
