A good photograph says a thousand words. A food photograph will make the viewer incredibly peckish.

Have you always wanted to finesse the art of food photography? Well, look no further as MPB, the world's largest platform for buying and selling used photo and video kit, has teamed up with Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, the world’s leading awards for food photography and film, to bring you a mouth-watering photography experience, not to be missed.

The class will be hosted by esteemed food photographer, Rob Wicks, who will teach participants the art of lighting, styling, storytelling, texture and post-production.
After learning the ropes in the morning session at the RWA, attendees will then get the chance to try out their new skills at Poco Tapas Bar, a multi-award-winning sustainable restaurant in Stokes Croft.

The masterclass is suitable for all levels of photographer, who are interested in elevating their skillset or learning something new with the aid of a professional food photographer. Attendees will also get the chance to borrow professional camera kit from MPB for the event.

Attendees could enter the images they have captured on the day to Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year awards, 2024, which opens for entries at the end of the summer.

Tickets cost £20 and all proceeds will be donated to the Square Food Foundation, a Bristol-based charity that works to reduce hunger, improve health and bring people together through food and cooking.
