Bristol’s award-winning Aztec Hotel & Spa, part of the Daniel Thwaites Spa Group, has launched a new Weekday Wellness Spa Day; designed for those looking for a tranquil mid-week wellbeing escape it includes full access to the spa facilities and is priced at just £40 per person.

With reports showing that consumers are still committed to ‘essential’ health and wellbeing spending*, despite the cost of living increases, a mid-week spa day offers a more affordable, yet just as luxurious, experience.

One of Bristol’s wellbeing gems, the Aztec Hotel & Spa was awarded the Best Boutique Spa in the Good Spa Awards 2022. The Weekday Wellness Spa Day is available from 10am to 3pm and gives full access to the spa, including the stunning new Relaxation Lounge with complimentary refreshments.

Facilities include the beautiful pool, hot tub, thermal experiences and brand-new Himalayan salt sauna. Also included is a delicious Bristolian hot air balloon inspired afternoon tea, created by the award-winning Curious Kitchen, which on warmer days can be enjoyed in the winter sunshine on the terrace overlooking the onsite lily pad pond. The package is ideal for those looking for some downtime during school hours.

Guests are invited to enjoy 25% off any treatments they book, such as the bespoke TempleSpa ‘My Kinda Massage’ (from £45 for back, shoulder and scalp massage, or £72 for full body massage). Guests can choose from the heavenly Drift Away massage with Frankincense, Lavender and Patchouli to help soothe and calm frazzled nerves and wind down an active mind, or the In Good Spirits massage infused with Ginger, Lemon and Bergamot to stimulate and refresh the skin, body & soul, alternatively the Work It Out massage with Juniper, Lavender and Cypress aids circulation and fights off knots, tensions and tightness, to help the detox process.

Gemma Barratt, Group Spa Director at Daniel Thwaites explains; “We are all aware that many people are having to keep a closer eye on their finances, which is why at the Aztec Hotel & Spa we wanted offer a special mid-week spa day, where people can spend a little less but still not compromise on their wellbeing experience.”
