Front Room are excited to open their doors with two brand-new shows from 16 December in former Pizza Express.

The theatre has been set up by Emma Keaveney-Roys and Adam Fuller who have been working as professional theatre makers, writers, directors and performers for just under two decades.

Emma and Adam have contributed to many of the hugely successful christmas shows at the Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol including 'Goldilock Stock and the Three Smoking Bears' and 'Reservoir Mogs', have worked with numerous theatre companies across the south west and beyond and toured to theatres nationally and internationally. They are bringing this wealth of experience to their hometown of Weston-super-mare where they hope to set up a performance space that is accessible for theatre goers and audiences alike. They believe theatre should be fun, informal, thought-provoking and community building.

Me, Monster?

WHAT’S THAT COMING OVER THE HOLM?! ‘Me, Monster?’ is an anarchic, absurd adult-only tale inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and told by donkeys, a ‘monster’ is on the loose in Weston-Super-Mare but is it hell bent on creating havoc or does it just want a chip butty on the beach lawns with some pals? Escaping its creator, the monster embarks on a journey to answer the eternal question…’What am I?’. Join us on a quest of love, heartbreak, friendship, and betrayal in a world of jilted ambitions, animal uprisings and exploitation. Hold on to your Christmas hats, it’s going to be a wild ride.
