Bristol Cathedral is inviting Bristol’s citizens and guests to attend a live screening of the State Funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II inside the Cathedral from 10.00am on Monday 19 September.

Screening will begin at 10.00am and run until 12.45pm. The State Funeral service will begin at 11.00am. The Cathedral Eucharist will be held at 1.00pm instead of 12.30pm, and Bristol Cathedral is inviting everybody to join the service.

“We are honoured to make the Cathedral available for those who would like to come together for the State Funeral of Here Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and provide space for thanksgiving and remembrance of Her Majesty the Queen” said the Very Rev’d Dr Mandy Ford, Dean of Bristol.

This follows Bristol Cathedral’s commitment as one of Bristol’s spaces for mourning and remembrance of Her Late Majesty the Queen – a space to leave floral tributes, sign books of condolence, light candles and pray for Her Majesty the Queen.

Bristol Cathedral continues to conduct Morning Prayer, Eucharist and Evensong services at regular times with additional prayers offered for Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family during services throughout the period of mourning.

Everyone is welcome. Dates and times of regular services are available at https://bristol-cathedral.co.uk/whats-on/
