Bristol Old Vic is excited to announce the launch of Kitchen + Bar, a tantalising new food and drink offering in its indoor and outdoor cafe area.

Food from Kitchen + Bar

Bristol Old Vic’s Kitchen + Bar features a vibrant range of locally sourced, deli-fresh food that complements its great coffee and fabulous selection of drinks. Served all day from Monday to Saturday, customers will be able to hang out at their favourite theatre for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Take a look at the new menu here.

Kitchen + Bar is a partnership with Bristol Event Catering – a local independent company that is quickly building a reputation for its modern approach to food creativity. Much of the food on the menu is sourced from local suppliers. Arthur David supply the fruit and veg, meat is sourced from Walter Rose Butchers, New Wave provide ethically sourced fish from Cornwall, and Forest Produce supply some of the finest products the south-west has to offer, including cheeses, charcuterie and fresh herbs.

Charlotte Geeves, Executive Director at Bristol Old Vic says “We are thrilled to offer a new dining experience that will appeal to all, not just theatregoers. Visitors often remark on the theatre’s beautiful architecture, passers-by stop to look through our windows at the impressive foyer area. We want to offer them a reason to come through our doors and stay for a while, Kitchen + Bar does just that. Great food and drink in a beautiful and inclusive space, on one of Bristol’s most attractive streets.”

James Caesar, Managing Director of Bristol Event Catering Company, says “Kitchen + Bar is a dining experience that plays on the concept of fusing old and new, much like the theatre space itself. Our menu offers foodie classics with a modern twist, all in a laid-back setting. We want Kitchen + Bar to be the go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner; and a great place for post-work drinks.”

Kitchen + Bar is open from 8.30am until late on Monday to Friday, and from 9am until late on Saturday.
