This October, Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein presents 'After Dark – nights to die for.’ An intense multi-sensory horror event for those aged 15 and above. Set over five floors in a period town house in the centre of Bath, visitors navigate the house in darkness encountering the horrors of ‘Purgatory.'

Visitors can venture through the house in darkness and face the harbingers of suffering trapped forever in purgatory, featuring live actors, special effects and disturbing aromascapes. Afterwards, they can descend to brave the dank underbelly of the House in the X-treme basement walkthrough experience, and decipher the ramblings of an unhinged mind within the Victor’s Lair Escape Room to find their way to freedom.

Visitors can also meet the Creature – a world-first 8ft animatronic recreation of Frankenstein’s monster as Mary Shelley imagined, and steady their nerves in the atmospheric Bloody Mary’s Bar serving horrifyingly good cocktails and drinks.

Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein 'After Dark’ will run 6-10pm from 21 - 31 October 2022. The experience is not suitable for children under the age of 15 years, or for the faint-hearted.

Throughout October, Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein will still offer their classic experience from 11am to 5pm (last entry 4pm), and from 10am – 6pm on Saturdays (last entry 5pm).
