Lash Stackers is a drag-cabaret night, with a difference. Set in a northern working men's club, 81 year old Paul Marsden and his son, local drag queen Roxytocin, weave a narrative of comic farce and familial tension between stunning cabaret acts. Acts range from drag to comedy, dance, burlesque and music.

This show will be around the Queen's official birthday, and will look at themes of monarchy, it's link to drag culture (kings and queens), conspiracy theories and how they're spiralling in the current climate, cut with electric guitars and interactive games. The headliners are London based Pink Suits ( @pinksuitsband ), who are a, Queer Punk Rock & Rage, band. Other acts include, established local drag king, Manly Mannington ( @manly_mannington ) and Devonian, and Sink the Pink regular, Petite ( @petitelame ).

Lash Stackers is produced and hosted by Harry Humberstone, northern comic actor/musician and Wardrobe Theatre Christmas show stalwart, and Roxytocin, Bristol drag Royalty.

The Shade Pullers & Lash Stackers Social Club, gives audiences the chance to watch a drag show in a sit down theatre context, where they can really drink it all in, attached to the beautiful Old Market Assembly bar, offering a massive range of delicious food and drink, in a beautiful old bank building.

It will run on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 of June at the Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol's famous LGBTQ+ district - Old Market. The show starts at 19:30. Tickets are £10-12 and are available from thewardrobetheatre.com

“Those that attended Lash Stackers left filled with the kind of love Valentine’s Day often forgets: the platonic, community love cultivated when everyone is welcome.”
