This summer, The Shore Café Bar Terrace at The Bristol, a Doyle Collection hotel, is a wonderful destination for casual outdoor dining (and people watching), with its prime location on the Harbourside’s Narrow Quay close to Pero’s Bridge.

The Shore Café Bar Terrace brunch

To celebrate the onset of the warmer months and The Shore Café Bar’s recent refurbishment featuring extensive terrace seating and ambient festoon lighting, the neighbourhood-favourite haunt has launched a delicious Weekend Brunch menu, including an extensive Bloody Mary selection. With abundant awnings, outdoor heaters and cosy McNutt of Donegal woollen throws sprawled throughout, the reimagined terrace space is an idyllic place to while away an afternoon and bring guests luxuriously into those balmy summer nights.

The new menu features classic brunch favourites, such as Eggs Benedict, Florentine or Royale and Crushed Avocado on Sourdough Toast, as well as some more contemporary dishes, including Baked Egg Shakshuka and a moreish vegan Grilled Tofu Burger; prices range from £7.50 to £16. A focus for all the dishes is to celebrate locally sourced ingredients of regional provenance where possible; for example, Cacklebean eggs from the Cotswolds and organic salmon from the Severn & Wye Smokery in Gloucestershire. The menu caters for both vegetarians and vegans.

The food is perfectly complemented by a Bloody Mary menu that includes various international twists – Mexican, Japanese, Brazilian and more - on the classic brunch-time cocktail, with low and no alcohol versions also available; prices range from £5 to £9.

Think of The Shore Café Bar as the place to meet with your best female friends for a girlie get-together, to enjoy some quality time with your partner on a lazy Sunday morning or even as the warm-up act to some festival action.

The new Weekend Brunch & Bloody Mary menu is available on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 3pm. For more information and to make a reservation at The Shore Café Bar Terrace, please call 0117 923 0333 or visit: Shore Café Bar in Bristol | The Bristol Hotel in Harbourside (doylecollection.com).
