Jump onboard the Brick Express on Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 May at the Avon Valley Railway and try your hand at building with the world’s most popular toy bricks.

The heritage railway at Bitton will be holding onboard workshops led by master builder Ginny and her friendly team who will be on hand to offer lots of guidance and suggestions as you travel the line. What will you be inspired to build?

Then, when you arrive back at Bitton Station there’ll be the chance to admire the latest creations from Bristol’s GertLug group including trains, townscapes, fantasy scenes and more.

Mark Simmons, the railway’s Commercial & Business Manager, said ‘our Brick Express event is one of our most popular events of the year and it’s always great to see what people build in our onboard workshops. I’m always amazed at the children’s imaginations!’

Tickets, to include a ride on one of the heritage steam trains as well as seeing the displays, cost just £9 for adults, £8 for concessions and £6 for children. Trains depart at 10:45, 12:00, 13:15, 14:30 and 15:45. More details and to purchase tickets can be found at www.avonvalleyrailway.org
