In November and December, Visit Bristol organised a media campaign to help promote the city’s Christmas events, shopping, markets and festive experiences, using the hashtag #MerryBristmas. The launch event at Bristol Beacon saw over 35 local and national freelance media attend as well as various Visit West members and staff. Local businesses took part to offer media complimentary experiences for inclusion in the campaign which saw many local media post Instagram coverage, blog posts and articles that reached over 200,000 accounts. Over 30 businesses were featured including SS Great Britain, Spiegeltent, Bristol Christmas Market, Tyntesfield and many more. Full report of coverage can be seen here.
